How to download a Spotify playlist
- Copy the playlist link. In Spotify, open the playlist, tap the three dots, then Share and Copy link.
- Paste it above. The playlist opens as a numbered list with each song’s artists and length.
- Choose Convert all. Songs convert two at a time, in order. Save each one as it turns green, or wait and save them all as one ZIP.
Up to 100 songs from one link
A shared Spotify playlist shows its first 100 songs, and that is what spottomp3 reads. For a longer playlist, split it in Spotify into lists of 100 or fewer, or paste each album it draws from on the album downloader.
What the files look like
Each file carries the song’s title, artists, album, track number, release date and cover, written in from its Spotify page, and is named Artist - Title. Inside the ZIP the files keep the playlist’s order: 01 Artist - Title.mp3, 02 …, so any player plays them back the way the playlist runs.
How long a playlist takes
About 15 to 30 seconds a song, two songs at a time: a nine-song album at 320 kbps took two minutes on our server, so a 50-song playlist takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Songs someone else converted in the last six hours are ready at once. Keep the page open while it works; it can sit in a background tab.
Questions
Can I download a private playlist?
Only if its link opens for someone who isn’t signed in as you. spottomp3 reads the same public page anyone with the link sees; if Spotify hides the playlist there, spottomp3 can’t read it either.
Why does it stop at 100 songs?
A shared Spotify playlist shows its first 100 songs, and that is all spottomp3 can read from one link.
Can I pick only some songs?
Yes. Each row has its own Convert button; you don’t have to convert the whole list.
What happens if one song can’t be found?
That row says so and the others carry on. You can retry it, or leave it out of the ZIP.
Can I download my Liked Songs?
Liked Songs has no share link. Add the songs to a playlist in Spotify, then paste that playlist’s link.
